MINDSET MONDAY 🍂
Livable Lifestyle with Leslie A new week. A fresh beginning. Small steps toward a life you love. ❤️ I absolutely love Mondays! They’re a chance to learn from last week, celebrate what went well, and make room for something better. I’ve shared about SMART goals—Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Those goals give us direction. The healthy patterns we practice each day help us get there. Start where you are. Your starting point might be your measurements

Feet up after a training session at Wulf! 👟 Now it’s time for my quick recap. 📝 My work doesn’t always end when our hour together is over! After each client’s session, I put together a Zone 1 Recap that includes the exercises we covered, machine settings, and weights used. It’s a simple, convenient workout reference you can pull up on your phone or print to help you remember what we worked on together. And yes, Zone 1 is included with your personal training session! 💙 Want

💙 FITNESS IS BUILT ONE BLOCK AT A TIME!
When I first meet with a client, one of the things I try to explain is that fitness has building blocks. There is a reason we don’t start at the top! The NASM OPT Model illustrates five phases of training, beginning with stabilization endurance and progressing toward power. But here’s what I want everyone to understand: Starting at Phase 1 doesn’t mean you’re less capable than someone else. It means we’re building a foundation for YOU. Everyone walks through my door with a di

🦌 Only in Evergreen, Colorado! 🌲❤️
After a wonderful morning training my clients, I found myself sitting in an elk traffic jam. And you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way! There’s something special about sitting there, watching the beauty of nature, and reflecting on the people I helped motivate, strengthen, and get their resistance training done today. 💪 I love what I do, I love the people I work with, and I absolutely love where I live. Sometimes life’s little traffic jams are reminders to slow dow

Your Waistline, Your Health—and My Honest Struggle
Sometimes I feel like a hypocrite sharing this information when nutrition is my own nemesis. I’m working on this alongside you.

Not the Boot Upgrade I Planned: A Little Balance, a Lot of Perspective
I started my birthday celebration in new boots… and ended up in a walking boot. Definitely not the wardrobe change I had planned! 😂 I was walking downtown, feeling pretty fabulous, when an uneven tree grate interrupted my confident strut. Quite humbling—and I wasn’t even wearing heels! Thank you for giving me time to rest and heal. I’m returning Monday, October 12, boot and all, ready to give you the care, encouragement, and personalized coaching you count on. ❤️ This week’s

But here’s the good news: you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. With tailored fitness plans, you can create a path that fits your unique needs, lifestyle, and goals. Let’s walk through how you can build your ideal fitness journey, step by step, with kindness and confide

💪 A SMART Way to Start Your Monday
We often start the week saying, “I’m going to exercise more.” But what does more actually mean? Instead, make your goal SMART: S — Specific: What exactly are you going to do? M — Measurable: How will you know you did it? A — Achievable: Does it fit your life right now? R — Realistic: Is this something you can reasonably maintain? T — Timebound: When will you do it, and for how long? So instead of: ❌ “I need to work out more.” Try: ✅ “I will strength train for 30 minutes on Mo

Healthy habits are built one choice at a time. 💙
You don’t need to change your life to completely improve your health. Start with one small step. Take the walk. Do the strength workout. Drink the water. Prioritize your sleep. Add the protein. Get back to it when you miss a day. Over time, those small choices become patterns. Those patterns become habits. And those habits can change how you feel, move, and live. Consistency doesn’t mean perfection. It means continuing to come back. Start where you are. Build a comfortable st

“Sweat, Snacks, and Sunshine: A Fitness Buddy Kind of Day”
My friend Ann and I proved today that everything truly is better with a fitness buddy! We kicked off the morning at the Wulf Recreation Center, focusing on resistance, strengthening, and stretching exercises to get our bodies moving and feeling strong. As a personal trainer, I recommend incorporating resistance training at least two to three times a week. While having a workout buddy is highly encouraged, sometimes scheduling that accountability means hiring a personal traine
