Exercise SMART to reach long-term fitness goals

We often start the week saying, “I’m going to exercise more.”

But what does more actually mean?

Instead, make your goal SMART:

S — Specific: What exactly are you going to do?

M — Measurable: How will you know you did it?

A — Achievable: Does it fit your life right now?

R — Realistic: Is this something you can reasonably maintain?

T — Timebound: When will you do it, and for how long?

So instead of:

❌ “I need to work out more.”

Try:

✅ “I will strength train for 30 minutes on Monday and Wednesday this week.”

That’s a goal you can actually follow—and check off. ✔️

You don’t need to change everything on Monday. Pick one small goal, make it SMART, and start there.

What’s your SMART goal for this week? ❤️
